Misconceptions About Hepa Vacuums

Hepa Vacuum CleanerMisconceptions About Hepa Vacuums

There is a common misconception that vacuums that use hepa filters are considered hepa vacuums.  However, the term Hepa Vacuum generally applies to industrial vacuums that use Hepa technology in hazardous particle and hazard waste  conditions.  The industrial hepa vacuum is used to eliminate led based paint, asbestos and other harmful particulates that would not normally be picked up or filtered properly by commercial vacuums with hepa filters.

One company, Vacmaster, has come out with an industrial hepa vacuum at commercial retail prices.  The vacuum can be used for industrial purposes or in the home for powerful cleaning.  However, the misconception has to be cleared up as an industrial type hepa vacuum cleaner uses a sealed filter.  This type of filter is typically costs more than commercial grade hepa filters, but follows EPA standards for industrial grade cleaning jobs.
